And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've got a 5x that I picked up in Danbury, CT 1977. I was headed to WY to work the oil patch outta high school and needed something for the sun and snow. Looks very similar to this one after almost 50 years. Like an old friend. I'm in the Northeast now and not many cowpokes in these parts. I sometimes get funny looks from the soy boys when I'm out in a snow squall.
Could be a "Boss of the Plains" like my Dad wore-he kept his in good shape. I believe the hat is displayed correctly, but the rug is back'rds.
