And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My wife has a horse. She often buys hay for her horse. I have to unload her pickup full of hay when she buys it. I don't think that I would be able to throw the hay bale that far.
That looks to be about 4 or 5 “flakes”, or about a third or a bit more of a 3-wire bale. That makes it probably 35 lbs, about what I feed our goats every morning and evening right now. When our 4 kids get a bit older it will get to be more like half a bale every morning and evening. We milk the nannies and my wife makes cheese and other products from the milk. During milking season (6 months) and so long as the cheese holds out after that (another 3-4 months), we make enough to cover the alfalfa cost. The rest of the time it’s not so easy.
More cowgirl!

DeleteOh, and we have the boys processed at about a year old and sell the meat. That keeps things floating as well.
