  8. As an engineer, no problems with the analog stuff for a system that HAS to work all the time.
    The control systems are solid, unless run by idiots.
    EMP, no issues.

    1. Analog is well... analog.
      Analog is always good like you say in critical situations, even in glass cockpits you can see a few analog instruments. That brings up Spacex's Dragon, at first seeing it I was rather suspicious because everything all the conttrols, readouts, everything on that large liquid crystal control screen. Though SpaceX employs a lot of ground control, I wonder how the astronauts flying Dragon feel about that when first seeing the all glass controls. Must be a pretty decent system as that craft has an excellent flight record, to date 100% reliable, looks like the best that exists.
