And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Helping out the pound by fostering a couple of kittens
did they not have any dogs. i can't go to an animal shelter without wanting to take EVERY dog home with me. i have the land and space for them but i worry that i could not give each and everyone of them the attention and love that they all deserve. did i mention that i love dogs
That's a gorgeous animal and a definite keeper. Let's see the other one. We're down to just 2 now, both over 10 years old. And 1 mutt, also over 10. All were other people's "throw aways". (shaking head)
We might pick up another one later this week, the last remaining from a litter found beside the road in a carrier. It's the runt, named Lightning. Apparently the current caretaker, though, is getting attached to little Lightning, and might keep him. We will see. Ghost, The other kitten we already have is the classic orange male.
Fostering is a excellent choice in helping our four footed friends, fostering leads to them becoming lifetime family members, ask how I know!
