Good to Know

  1. If it's an "in-swing" door it is fairly easy to kick in.

If it's an "out-swing" door it will be almost impossible to kick in short of destroying the door and jamb with over whelming pressure that most people are unable to summon.

The door in the picture is most likely an interior door, say, to a bedroom, and kicked in easily if it's an in-swing. I see no hinge pins so....

  7. Wait an hour.
It's much easier to deal with after the fire consumes it, and WTH are you doing breaking down a door to room on fire in the first place?
Unless you're getting paid for that, your business is getting out, not getting in.
This is the Art Of Stupidity, except for a miniscule percentage of the population.
And if the fire is between you and "out", you're already behind the 8-ball, aren't you?
